Hazy Days of Summer

It was a hot and humid day in Ottawa on June 25th. As I was driving towards Mooney's Bay I saw this haze rise above the water as the sun was setting. I had to stop and take a pic I have a connection to this pic as I used to spend a lot of time playing volleyball, much of it at Mooney's Bay in the summer.

Mooney's Bay is the site of the largest Beach Volleyball tournament in the world, the annual HOPE tournament which takes place one Saturday in July and raises a lot of money for charity. They squeeze 10,000 players onto the small beach and it is always a great time!
