This was my entry for the Beauty of Words contest
I chose the word evanescent, meaning “Vanishing quickly, lasting a very short time”.
In this pic the Canada Goose decides to leave the bank and jump into the water. Actually Canada Geese don’t really jump they fly into the water. The flight of the goose lasts a very short time, there is hardly any time to take the picture. I wasn't expecting it take off, I was getting some close up shots of it
